I believe they are. I watch and read about true mediums, not the fake crystal ball ones. Some, like Teresa Caputo, the Long Island Medium, can talk to ghosts and the people she reads are very impressed with her accuracy. I believe there are some with that gift.
good story. I really don't have a specific one but for a long time after my dad passed, I often had the feeling that he was with me, especially when I was in my workshop. often i thought I felt his hand on my shoulder. My neighbors long since passed away both felt that their departed family members were around, I remember Harriett telling me that the evening before her husband died, he was in the bedroom sleeping, he called out to her and when she went in to check on him, he was sitting up in bed. He turned toward her and said I just saw my dad and brother (both of whom had died years before) and I know everything is going to be ok.
Great story Vee. We still have a Ouija board, but I keep feeling there are some sinister spirits that can come through it so I haven't pulled it out in years. When I did we had to do a ritual to banish any evil spirit and only allow the white light to come through. We did get some interesting readings though, but I am not sure I believed it. The moving piece does give you goosebumps. I always believe someone is pushing it, but they always say not. lol
That story was lovely Toni. I myself am not in the least bit religious but I do believe in the paranormal. I don't have a story to tell but in my youth I consumed stories by Alistair Crowley and others and many years later even used a wiji-board. This was with a couple of children who lived in a logging camp in the wilds of British Columbia CA. They showed me that there is a force that can answer questions. To tell you the truth I was spooked. It did answer my questions! Those two preteens treated it with such a blaise demeanour that I felt at 30 much younger and unknowing than them! I was the camp cook and they used to come to my trailer every evening because I think my English accent fascinated them. They were my friends for two years. Once when I insisted I walk them back to their trailer though they were more capable than I to tell the truth, we saw a black bear. Their dog, an indescribable mutt started barking at the bear and it climbed up a tree. They said even cougars were scared of his bark lol. A learned experience that never left me lol.
Do dreams about arguments with my late father count as " supernatural " ? I had dreams off & on for roughly 2 to 3 years after he died & could never really remember what they were about as I awakened, teeth clenched, dripping in perspiration. Time to call in CG JUNG.....
Hi Daniel. I still have conversations with my parents, and my husband who has been dead 30 years. I think they are real, and sometimes I wake up and remember them. Sometimes I think they respond when I talk to them (I'm not crazy, just open to the possibility we can communicate with those beyond our hemisphere). It's hard to know if the dreams are real, or just something you were thinking about and then came alive in your dreams. I guess that's why metaphysics is so interesting.
Einstein said that energy is neither created nor destroyed, it just takes new forms. & maybe ghost sightings are a result of different points in the multiverse touching. Maybe some ghosts are still alive in the multiverse !
